MONEL® K-500 W 2.4375 UNS N05500
MONEL® alloy K-500 W 2.4375 UNS N05500 is a nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL alloy 400 with additional advantages of increased mechanical strength and hardness through the addition of aluminum and titanium. This material unlike MONEL 400 is hardenable by heat aging treatment. MONEL® alloy K-500 W 2.4375 UNS N05500 is suitable for low and high temperature applications in corrosive environments.
Typical applications of MONEL® alloy K-500 W 2.4375 UNS N05500 are: fasteners and springs for marine applications pump and valve components for chemical and oil refining and extraction components.
