ASTM A453 Grade 660 A286 W 1.4980

A453 Steel Grade 660 – ALLOY 286 – W 1.4980 is a precipitation-hardenable alloy by aging heat treatment; it is a high-strength steel suitable for high-temperature applications and in corrosive environments. The corrosion resistance of this alloy is excellent up to 704 °C. Up to 816 °C, the oxidation resistance is similar to that of AISI 310 W 1.4845. This alloy is especially used for valve parts, pumps for making spacers, bolts and fasteners.
