INCOLOY® 825 nickel alloy UNS N08825 ALLOY 825 werkstoff 2.4858 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. The chemical composition of this nickel alloy is designed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments. It is similar to type 800 alloy but with superior corrosion resistance in water. It has excellent resistance to acid oxidants, corrosion stress “cracking,” and localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion.
INCOLOY® 825 nickel alloy UNS N08825 werkstoff 2.4858 is particularly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids and is therefore used for making components of chemical plants, pollution control equipment, oil & gas plants, nuclear fuel reprocessing, and pickling equipment.
