Werkstoff 1.4550 AISI 347 UNS S34700

Werkstoff austenitic stainless steel 1.4550 AISI 347 UNS S34700 is an iron alloy containing from chromium and nickel suitable for high temperature applications. This material also contains limited amounts of titanium and niobium, making it resistant to intergranular corrosion caused by welding or heating at high temperatures. Werkstoff 1.4550 AISI 347 UNS S34700 steel exhibits good corrosion resistance under many environmental conditions particularly in the presence of hydrochloric acid sulfuric acid and alkaline solutions. Because of these specific characteristics it is mainly used for the production of fastening systems for furnaces heat exchangers exhaust gas manifolds steam turbines and of course in petrochemical plants.
