NITRONIC® 60 A193 B8S UNS S21800 ALLOY 218
NITRONIC® 60 A193 B8S UNS S21800 ALLOY 218 is an austenitic stainless steel with exceptional resistance to seizure at both ambient and elevated temperatures. Its corrosion resistance is better than the AISI 304 series while its resistance to chloride pitting is superior to AISI 316. The yield strength at room temperature also is almost twice that of AISI 304 and AISI 316.
NITRONIC® 60 A193 B8S UNS S21800 ALLOY 218 stainless steel is a fine material used for making valve stems, seats and linings; fastening systems, chain drives, pivots, bushings and roller bearings, and more generally for pump components.
