The addition of nitrogen gives this alloy excellent mechanical strength and great toughness while significantly improving corrosion resistance and high temperature stability. Corrosion resistance of super duplex A182 F53 UNS S32750 W 1.4410 SAF 2507 is optimal in the solubilized state and with high point corrosion resistance index values (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number &#8211; PREN = %Cr + 33-%Mo + 16-%N).
